BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Once a booking is confirmed the booking conditions and cancellation charges determined by the Lodge will apply.
This can vary greatly from Lodge to Lodge and details are summarised below. All prices include 10% GST.
DEPOSITS PER PERSON
A $50 per person deposit is payable on booking, 50% of the accommodation cost is due within 7 days from confirmation of your booking. Bookings which have not been confirmed by monies received will be cancelled without notice. For bookings less than 6 weeks to departure full payment is due on confirmation.
FINAL BALANCE DUE
Balance of payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Failure to make final payment by due date may result in loss of booking and deposit.

Deposit rates are a guide only. Deposit will be dependant on the Lodge’s policy.

ALTERATION AND CANCELLATION CHARGES
Any alterations to bookings requested less than 6 weeks prior to the date of departure is subject to the same conditions as for a cancellation. Except where advised otherwise in this brochure the following cancellation charges will apply. Note: Insurance can provide protection against substantial cancellation charges resulting from sickness or injury and is recommended.
Lift and lift/lesson tickets are non refundable, see individual Resort brochures for more details.

Between 31 days – 6 weeks................................70% of full fare
Between 15 days – 30 days ................................80% of full fare
Between 8 days – 14 days ..................................90% of full fare
Less than 7 days ......................................................No refund
CHECK IN TIMES & DEPARTURES
Departure times should be confirmed when booking is made. Passengers are required to be at point of embarkation 30 minutes before advertised departure times. Departure times from the Ski Resorts should be confirmed and if the weather conditions are bad this could force an earlier departure than planned - no responsibility can be accepted for passengers who arrive after a service has departed. Evening meal on the return journey is not included. On some services to or from Mt. Hotham and Mt. Buller, it may be necessary to change vehicles - this will be advised on departure date.
SNOW CONDITIONS
The Ski Connection does not accept responsibility for snow conditions or bad weather which could cause the loss of skiing days. Cancellation or alteration of travel dates due to snow conditions does not exempt the booking from cancellation/alterations conditions. In the unlikely event that a coach is snowbound and is unable to leave the Resort as scheduled any additional expenses incurred by the passengers for accommodation and/or meals are the responsibility of the individual. The Ski Connection will accept no responsibility for such costs. Similarly in the event that a Resort is not accessible by the normal route indicated in this brochure then The Ski Connection reserves the right to make alternative arrangements. Whilst every effort will be made to provide the package as brochured, no refund will be made in the event that it is necessary to make a change, resulting from such circumstances over which The Ski Connection has no control.The Ski Connection will accept no responsibility for any additional costs incurred as a result.
ACCOMMODATION ROOM AVAILABILITY
(Applicable to all packages) Every effort will be made to make rooms available as soon as possible after arrival, however, it is not possible to guarantee room availability before 2.00pm. If rooms are not available immediately on arrival then changing facilities will be provided. Rooms must be vacated by 8.00am on day of departure, however, changing facilities will be provided prior to coach departure. BOND : A refundable bond ($250 - $400) is payable upon arrival at all self contained apartments.
CHANGE OF ITINERARY
The Ski Connection reserves the right, if necessary, to revise timetables or prices without notice.
CONDITIONS – RESPONSIBILITY
The Ski Connection coach departs at the scheduled times printed in this brochure. The Ski Connection hold no responsibility for passengers who fail to load, and alternative arrangements can sometimes be made for journey missed but is at the passengers expense. The sale of services described herein is made by The Ski Connection as agent only for the persons providing such other service upon condition that The Ski Connection shall not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, irregularity, loss or damage caused by or arising out of the provision of or failure to provide any such other service. The Ski Connection believe that the contents of this brochure are correct at the time of printing. The Ski Connection shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy or misdescription to provide any service set out in this brochure.
